Be-Pop
Orchestra
Nelson in British Sci-Fi Modern Pop band,
Be Bop Deluxe, became new wave oriented in
the 80's and he played as Red Noise, an leading
unit of Techno Pop, and solo. While Bill
Nelson was known as a skilled guitarist during
Be Bop Deluxe days, he became an experimental
Techno Pop (rather than Electro Pop) musician
in his solo days and started up his dream
factory label "Cocteau" keeping
the distance from the mainstream. In the
omnibus album "Cocteau Signature Tunes",
he did the song for Japan "Ieyasu"
with the credit of Jobson-Nelson. Orchestra
Arcana is Bill Nelson's unit with a different
name. He seems to like Japan and joined as
a guitarist in "What Me Worry"
by Yukihiro Takahashi in his \EN days and
"Kimi Ni Mume Kyun" by YMO. His
wife seems to be Japanese with the name of
Emiko.
